Our purpose

Understanding life on Earth, one discovery at a time.

The Paleontological Research Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization established to advance paleontological research and create educational opportunities, with particular emphasis on vertebrate paleontology.

By studying ancient life and environments, researchers uncover patterns of change that can inform our understanding of the future. The foundation seeks to help address limited funding for professional investigations, instruction, and student participation.
